First Look Inside the New PokéPark Kanto: Highlights Revealed!

On February 5, PokéPark Kanto, a new Pokémon-themed facility, will open at Yomiuriland amusement park, 4015-1 Yanokuchi, Inagi, Tokyo. Ahead of its grand opening, the park's interior was unveiled to the media for the first time.

In Kayatsuri Town, the central hub where Trainers and Pokémon gather, visitors can purchase original Snorlax-themed popcorn. It comes in two flavors: a spicy barbecue and a sweet and savory milk caramel. Guests can also opt for a set that includes the "Snorlax Popcorn Box," complete with a special neck strap.

The lid of the box features a large, sleeping Snorlax that looks so peaceful you can almost hear it snoring. The neck strap even includes a charm of the Poké Flute, the essential item needed to wake Snorlax from its slumber.

The neck strap features a charm of the "essential item" for waking Snorlax: the Poké Flute.
Available in two flavors: barbecue and milk caramel. The individual packaging is also designed for easy carrying.
Sold at the "Snorlax Popcorn" wagon in the Trainer's Market in Kayatsuri Town.

About PokéPark Kanto

PokéPark Kanto is the first-ever permanent outdoor Pokémon facility, located within the Yomiuriland amusement park. It is a completely new 2.6-hectare area, built by extensively renovating existing facilities and developing previously unused land within the Tama Hills of the Kanto region. The park is operated by PokéPark Kanto LLC, a joint venture between The Pokémon Company, Yomiuriland Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun.

The park is mainly composed of three areas: the PokéPark Entrance Plaza, Kayatsuri Town, and the Pokémon Forest. Spanning a forest and a town inhabited by over 600 Pokémon, the park will offer exclusive attractions, shows, parades, merchandise, and food. Guests can become "Pokémon Trainers" and enjoy encounters and adventures with Pokémon.

Three types of tickets are available, all of which also grant admission to the main Yomiuriland amusement park. Tickets are being sold sequentially on the official website on a first-come, first-served basis and through a lottery system.
