First Look Inside the New "PokePark Kanto" – Here are the Highlights!

On February 5, the new Pokémon-themed facility, "PokePark Kanto" (located within Yomiuriland amusement park at 4015-1 Yanokuchi, Inagi-shi, Tokyo), will celebrate its grand opening. Ahead of the launch, the park's interior was unveiled to the media for the first time.

In the central area, "Kayatsuri Town," visitors can enjoy two main attractions. One of these is "VeeVee Voyage," a world-tour-themed carousel featuring Eevee and its beloved evolutions, known as the "Eeveelutions." Trainers can ride in carriages pulled by Ponyta and Rapidash or on flying chairs lifted by balloons, experiencing fantastical scenery and an exhilarating journey.

The ride costs 1,200 yen for adults (ages 13 and up) and 800 yen for children (ages 3 to 12). Timed-entry tickets are available for purchase at a wagon inside the "Pokémon Trainers Market" in Kayatsuri Town. Holders of the "Elite Trainer's Pass" can use the priority lane for one ride on their entry date at no extra charge. Children under 5 must be accompanied by a paying guardian aged 13 or older.

About "PokePark Kanto"

PokePark Kanto is Pokémon's first permanent outdoor facility, located within the "Yomiuriland" amusement park. This brand-new, 2.6-hectare area was developed by extensively renovating existing facilities and developing previously unused land in the Tama Hills of the Kanto region. The park is operated by PokePark Kanto LLC, a joint venture between The Pokémon Company, Yomiuriland Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun.

The park primarily consists of three areas: "PokePark Entrance Plaza," "Kayatsuri Town," and "Pokémon Forest." It features a forest and town where over 600 Pokémon live, offering exclusive attractions, shows, parades, merchandise, and food. Guests become "Pokémon Trainers" and can enjoy encounters and adventures with Pokémon.

Three types of tickets are available, all of which include admission to "Yomiuriland." Tickets are being released sequentially for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis or through a lottery system on the official website.
