- Opening February 5, 2026
The new Pokémon-themed facility, PokePark Kanto (4015-1 Yano-kuchi, Inagi-shi, Tokyo, inside Yomiuriland), will open on February 5. Ahead of the grand opening, the park's interior was unveiled to the media.
Located in the central Kayatsuri Town, the "Friendliy Shop" offers original drinks designed to help Pokémon Trainers recover from their adventures. Choose from three unique beverages, each inspired by one of the original starter Pokémon using their signature moves: "Bulbasaur's Razor Leaf Drink," "Charmander's Ember Drink," and "Squirtle's Water Gun Drink."
Each drink comes with a Pokémon icing cookie in a Poké Ball-themed pouch, allowing you to add the final topping yourself before you enjoy your creation.
The Friendliy Shop also sells exclusive PokePark Kanto bottled drinks themed after the in-game items "Fresh Water," "Soda Pop," and "Moomoo Milk."
About PokePark Kanto
PokePark Kanto is Pokémon's first permanent outdoor facility, located within the Yomiuriland amusement park. Spanning approximately 2.6 hectares, it is a completely new area created through a large-scale renovation of existing facilities and the development of a previously unused section of land in the Tama Hills of the Kanto region. The park is operated by PokePark KANTO G.K., a joint venture of The Pokémon Company, Yomiuriland Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun.
The park mainly consists of three areas: the PokePark Entrance Plaza, Kayatsuri Town, and the Pokémon Forest. Here, guests will find a forest and town where over 600 Pokémon live, offering exclusive attractions, shows, parades, merchandise, and food. Guests become "Pokémon Trainers" and can enjoy encounters and adventures with Pokémon.
There are three types of tickets, all of which include admission to Yomiuriland. Tickets are being sold sequentially on the official website through first-come, first-served sales and lotteries.
