- Grand Opening on February 5, 2026
On February 5, "PokéPark Kanto" (4015-1 Yanokuchi, Inagi, Tokyo, within Yomiuriland amusement park), a new Pokémon-themed facility, will open its doors. Ahead of the grand opening, the park's interior was unveiled to the media for the first time.
Located in the PokePark Entrance Plaza, the 'Pokémon Daisuki Shop' is the largest souvenir shop in the park, offering a wide range of original merchandise. The shop carries wearable items like headbands and pochettes that you can enjoy inside the park, as well as apparel and stationery themed after the various areas and attractions. You'll also find a selection of confectionery and plush toys perfect for souvenirs.
Among the wearable merchandise, highlights include headbands that let you transform into your favorite Pokémon (19 types across 3 series, priced from 2,300 to 2,500 yen each) and plush caps (10 types, 3,500 yen each).
The shop also sells interior decor and miscellaneous goods featuring art inspired by the world of the "Vui Vui Voyage" attraction, plush toys and pochettes of Pikachu and Eevee wearing the same carnival costumes as in the parade, and stationery and sweets with motifs from Kayatsuri Town and Pokémon Forest.
Please note that entry to the shop requires a numbered ticket for a designated entry time, which can be obtained through the official app. You can apply for a ticket after passing through the Yomiuriland entrance gates. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to one per person per day.
About PokéPark Kanto
PokéPark Kanto is Pokémon's first permanent outdoor facility, located within the Yomiuriland amusement park. It is a completely new area spanning approximately 2.6 hectares, developed through a large-scale renovation of existing facilities and the development of a previously unused area in the Tama Hills of the Kanto region. The park is operated by PokéPark Kanto LLC, a joint venture of The Pokémon Company, Yomiuriland Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun.
The park primarily consists of three areas: the PokéPark Entrance Plaza, Kayatsuri Town, and Pokémon Forest. It features a forest and town where over 600 Pokémon live, offering exclusive attractions, shows, parades, merchandise, and food. Guests can become "Pokémon Trainers" and enjoy encounters and adventures with Pokémon.
There are three types of tickets, all of which include admission to Yomiuriland. Tickets are being sold sequentially through the official website via a first-come, first-served system and a lottery system.
