PokéPark Kanto: A Guide to Merchandise Available Without a Shop Reservation, Including Special Poké Balls for Trading Pokémon!

Opening February 5, 2026
A First Look Inside the New 'PokéPark Kanto': Here Are the Highlights!

On February 5, "PokéPark Kanto" (4015-1 Yano-kuchi, Inagi-shi, Tokyo, within Yomiuriland), a new Pokémon-themed facility, will open its gates. Ahead of the grand opening, the park's interior was unveiled to the media.

While entry to the "Pokémon Daisuki Shop" in the PokéPark Entrance Plaza requires a timed-entry voucher (available on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to once per person, per day), some merchandise is also available at wagons in the "Pokémon Trainers Market" within Kayatsuri Town, allowing you to make purchases at your convenience.

A key highlight is the Poké Ball containing a Pokémon pin badge. There are 151 different pin designs, and you can trade them with staff at the wagons or other staff members throughout the park. These special Poké Balls are sold at only one specific location. Each shop and staff member has different Pokémon, so enjoy searching and trading for the ones you want!

Inside the Poké Ball is a pin badge featuring one Pokémon. Just like in the games, you can enjoy trading Pokémon at shops and with staff.

Also available exclusively at the wagons are keychains (1,800 yen) that can be personalized with your name or a special date, using up to 8 alphanumeric characters. They come in two designs, Pikachu and Eevee. After placing an order, you must pick it up between a specified time and the park's closing time on the same day. Getting matching ones for your family, partner, or friends is a great idea.

Familiar drinks from the Pokémon games are also for sale, including "Fresh Water," "Soda Pop," and "Moomoo Milk." Wearable merchandise such as headbands and plush hats, as well as a variety of plush toys, are also available.

About PokéPark Kanto

PokéPark Kanto is Pokémon's first permanent outdoor facility, located within the "Yomiuriland" amusement park. It is a completely new area spanning approximately 2.6 hectares, created through a large-scale renovation of existing facilities and the development of a previously unused area in the Tama Hills of the Kanto region. The park is operated by PokéPark Kanto, LLC, a joint venture between The Pokémon Company, Yomiuriland Co., Ltd., and The Yomiuri Shimbun.

The park consists of three main areas: "PokéPark Entrance Plaza," "Kayatsuri Town," and "Pokémon Forest." In this sprawling forest and town where over 600 Pokémon live, guests can enjoy exclusive attractions, shows, parades, merchandise, and food. Visitors become "Pokémon Trainers" and can enjoy encounters and adventures with Pokémon.

There are three types of tickets available, all of which include admission to Yomiuriland. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis or through a lottery system and will be released sequentially on the official website.
