The popular Sanrio interactive exhibition from South Korea makes its Japan debut.

Sony Creative Products will host the Sanrio interactive exhibition, "Sanrio characters Exhibition Hotel Floria Tokyo," from July 15, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The event will take place on the 4th floor of the Tokyu Kabukicho Tower.

Themed around "Hotel Floria," a dream hotel conceived by 10 beloved Sanrio characters including Hello Kitty, the exhibition offers a novel "hotel room tour" experience. Ahead of its grand opening, exclusive merchandise and new visuals of the exhibition have been unveiled.

Following its successful run in South Korea, this exhibition marks the event's first time in Japan. During the event, exclusive merchandise for the Tokyo venue will be available for purchase.

The lineup includes "Plush Keychains" of My Melody & Kuromi (2,750 yen each), "Luggage Tags" to accessorize your suitcase or bag (5 designs, 2,640 yen each), elegant gold-rimmed "Badges" (10 designs, 990 yen each), and "Paper Air Fresheners" (5 types, 1,320 yen each), which are perfume tags filled with scents inspired by each character.

Sanrio "Hotel Floria" Exhibition Visuals

Produced by the Seoul-based creative production company d'strict, the exhibition allows visitors to check in and receive a room key just like at a real hotel. They then tour a series of rooms and facilities, each themed after a different character and full of unique, interactive features.

Visitors can immerse themselves in Sanrio's world of "kawaii" through photogenic 360-degree spaces woven with light, sound, and color.

In the hotel garden, Little Twin Stars' Kiki and Lala are hosting a night garden party. A magical surprise awaits on the flower cake at the table...
In the ballroom, LED screens envelop the space, showing the characters enjoying a dance. The dazzling lights create a true dance hall atmosphere.
A real sand beach area filled with Pochacco's dreams. An oversized digital screen covering one wall displays a glittering pink sea and sunset sky, creating a romantic setting.
