Major Timetable Revision for Haneda Airport to Lake Kawaguchiko Highway Bus: Weekday Services to Resume with Fare Increase and Discontinued Stops
2025年10月20日 15:19
- Effective from November 1, 2025
Fuji Express, a member of the Fujikyu Group, has announced a significant timetable revision for its highway bus service connecting Haneda Airport and Shinagawa Station with the Fuji-Q Highland, Lake Kawaguchiko, and Mt. Fuji Station area. The changes will take effect on November 1.
The revision marks the resumption of weekday services, which had been suspended, with the bus previously running only on weekends and public holidays. The operational pattern will also be reversed. While the previous schedule had buses running toward Shinagawa and Haneda Airport (inbound) in the morning and toward Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji (outbound) in the afternoon, the new timetable will feature outbound services in the morning and inbound services in the afternoon.
Additionally, with this revision, the following bus stops will be discontinued: Chuo-do Ogatayama, Chuo-do Tsuru, Chuo-do Nishikatsura, Chuo-do Shimoyoshida, and Fujisan Parking. Consequently, there will be no more stops available for boarding or alighting on the Chuo Expressway portion of the route. The total journey duration is expected to remain largely unchanged at approximately 3 hours.
Fares will also be revised. The new one-way fare for trips originating from or terminating at Haneda Airport terminals will be 3,300 yen, while the fare for trips to or from Shinagawa Station (Konan Exit) will be 2,300 yen. The fare from Haneda Airport reflects an increase of 780 yen over the current price.
