Narita's "AIRPORT BUS TYO-NRT" to Launch Direct Ginza Service on October 1, Improving Speed by Splitting from Tokyo Station Route

Service begins October 1, 2025
The "AIRPORT BUS TYO-NRT" direct service to Ginza Station will launch on October 1.

Keisei Bus, JR BUS KANTO, and BE-TRANSSE HOLDINGS have announced that they will launch a new direct service to Ginza Station for the "AIRPORT BUS TYO-NRT" express bus, which connects Narita Airport with central Tokyo. The new service will begin on October 1.

The decision comes in response to the high volume of use of the Ginza Station bus stop by inbound international tourists. By separating this new service from the existing route that serves Tokyo Station, the operators aim to enhance convenience and offer a faster journey by providing a direct link between Ginza Station and each terminal at Narita Airport.

With the timetable revision on October 1, the Narita Airport–Tokyo Station service will maintain its frequency of every 10-15 minutes, while some of its buses will be reallocated to the new direct Ginza route. To meet the demand for transportation to hotels in the city center, the direct Ginza service will operate more frequently in the afternoon—a peak time for flight arrivals and departures—for journeys in both directions. The service will run 20 times a day (15 departing from Narita Airport and 5 from Ginza). The fare will be 1,500 yen for adults (half price for children).
